Salaried GP Vacancy – Elm Tree Medical Centre – Thornaby

Sessions: 7 Sessions

Salary: £11,000 per session/pro rata per annum

Elm Tree Medical Centre are recruiting for a Salaried GP for 7 sessions per week, bringing with it an attractive renumeration package!

Due to the increased patient list size at the surgery, we are seeking to recruit a Salaried GP to join our well organised, progressive practice team. Elm Tree welcomes both experienced and newly qualified (including those awaiting CCT) GPs to apply. The GP we are seeking, is a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic who thrives on working as a part of a democratic team.  We are a popular, high performing training practice with a growing patient list size of 13.5 k, situated in Thornaby, Teesside.

You will be joining a team of 5 GP partners, 4 Salaried GPs, Nurse Practitioner, Paramedic, a Clinical Pharmacist and a team of Practice Nurses and HCAs, who are supported by Management and the Admin/Reception Team. We are a friendly practice, offering a supportive and collaborative team environment, where we encourage learning, development, and personal growth. Elm Tree Medical Centre is an active member of Stockton PCN supported by, First Contact Practitioners, Social prescribers, a Health & Wellbeing Coach, and a Mental Health practitioner. We are a SystmOne Practice.

· Sessions: Monday pm - admin ( bloods , letters),Tuesday pm - admin (bloods, letters) , Wed and Thursday full days- Triage doctor + urgent admin , Friday pm- Admin (bloods, letters)
· Potential for some sessions to be done remotely once role established.
· No Home visits
· 30 days Annual leave (and additional Statutory Bank Holidays) and allocated Study Leave pro rota.
