Healthcare Assistant – Woodbridge Practice – Thornaby

Hours:               Monday and Friday 08:30am till 5:00pm  (16 hours per week)

Salary:              £26,944 pro-rata, per annum

Contract:          Permanent

Location:           Cross cover between Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick

Our vacancy

We are looking for an experienced nurse, who acting within their professional boundaries, will undertake tasks, including, blood pressure checks, ECGs and basic dressings providing highest quality care for our patients. Additionally, the successful person will order/maintain stock levels and control, preparing minor surgery, coil and implant clinics. Experience of phlebotomy would be desirable or a willingness to be trained.

The successful person will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures.
